Default Dictaphones

The Wife has been asked to get a Dictaphone for work.
It's required for recording meetings of up to 3 hours with around 20 people.
Not sure what options are available with these things. Is there anything to look for in particular?

I dictate for hours on end as part of my job.........I use a Phillips Classic 388.

However they are being banned as of next month and we are going "Digital", the tapes are not secure and if lost or misplaced can be listened to by anyone. Digital recording can be encrypted and require a PIN..

Another vast expense for the UK's largest employer................
