Default Ryobi power tools one + range 18 volt

So I needed a new hammer drill and also a corner sander (stripping windows)

Hammer drill, fab bit of kit. Corner sander, brilliant bit of kit. But, battery life. 2x 18 volt lithium 1.4ah batteries will only last 15 mins each using the corner sander !!!

Is this normal ? Seems a very very short working time between charges..

You need at least 3.0 or 4.0ah batteries for a decent run time.

I have two 3.0Ah batteries which last a decent time even in an impact driver.

Avoid Ryobi, the amount of their gear that gets sent back under warranty is staggering.
Then when they get it back and decide it's not under warranty, they want paying before they will return it to you. Mate works for a tool supplies company and warned me off Ryobi.
