IMHO usual QW pile of cack
How exactly do u define a supercar?
Noticed there was not a single mention of any rice rockets
Or are they all being saved for a special edition perhaps?
"Affordable supercars" or "buget supercar eaters"
IMHO If only Q could see past Germany, he`d realise that there is a
lot 2 b said for vehicles from our Eastern friends surely the skyline if nothing else should have had a mention? Or doesn`t that
cost enough
Pete

It was made by TLC (The Learning Channel), which is US-based - so what do you expect? The only cars we saw are the ones the Americans have heard of, and if it aint got a big V? (or is a Porsche) then they don't care...
Also the program was 4 years old
Still, it saves me bothering to watch it next time

I was wondering, that programme was made in 1998, but how come QW mentioned abt the Ferrari 575M? I thought that car was only launched at the start of this yr with the F2002.
The time devoted to American 'supercars' are more than the combined airtime for both Ferrari & Lambo.

I didn't say I didn't like it Just that I wouldn't go out of my way to ensure I was in on a Sunday night to watch it
American "power without control" cars are always amusing

Can I say 'tree hugger'????

Flame suit on:
Apart from the multitude of Ferraris and the Lamborghini. How many of these vehicles were "Supercars". Jag is a GT. Aston is a GT. 911 is a GT. Elise is a sportscar. The Jaguar owners club?????!!!! FFS. The E-Type (dont know) the Shelby cobra (Don't know)Those idiots in America were just huge engines in relativly ordinary cars. So not technically a supercar as these tend to handle. (note loved watching the informative hand signals as to what was around the next straight (how boring is that race!) - Could have done with an intercom methinks) Mustang is a muscle car, as is the Corvette. (I term muscle car as huge engine, soggy suspension. Where was the McLaren?!?!? The ULTIMATE Supercar! Or Maseratis?
Load of sh*te wish Id done something else rather than watch that!
I mean Clarkson does this sort of programme 100 times better. And that aint really saying much.

To be honest with the amount of soap operas, diy, gardening and cookery shows I think you were lucky to get anything car related . Mind due I did tape Ray Mears as it was on at the same time which was pretty good.

Somehow, the idea of ordering the 500hp 454cu in (7.4L) motor in a small-ish car with soggy suspension, drum brakes, bench seat with lap belts appealed to some people
