Go to the states and check out how many people have a star spangled banner on their aerials without their even being an event like the worldcup looming. Also the number of religious stickers - oh my god (no pun intended).

Actually when I was in the states people had full size flag poles & flags in their front gardens

I've got two flags....One on the aerial and a larger one on the parcel shelf.

They come out every Saing Georges' day and every time England play a match.

I have even had comments from people I've never met before congratulating me on being patriotic and saying that not enough people do this nowadays...

GO AND BUY A FLAG AND STICK IT SOMEWHERE PROMINENT!
