Default Easyjet

Guys

Do Easyjet accept you showing them your boarding card on a smart phone?
And what about hold bags if you check in on-line

The hitlers, yeah I noticed they'd become a lot more beady eyed
I assume they get some kind of commissions then?

I know.

However take this scenario.
I travelled from Liverpool recently and was carrying an empty largish holdall.
At boarding this daft bint stops me and says put that in the cage.
So, I fold in in half and place it in the cage.
She then demands that it is placed in unfolded, otherwise I've got to pay.
Well lets just say I made it fit.
But FFS - its an empty hold all.

Yup. Liverpool are w**kers.

Last time I flew from there the check in girl walks up and down the line, asking if anyone is willing to put their hand luggage in the hold as there is no space on the plane - NO CHARGE. I was quite happy to do it - but my bag had £3ks worth of electronics in it. Not heavy, but valuable and not something I want to get damaged.

So I declined. She carried on asking everyone.

30 seconds later I get to the desk and she says "put your bag in there". It goes in - but the top is sticking out by about 2 inches. Fair enough. So ok, put it in the hold - but let me take my gear out first. FFS....

Take gear out which is in its own case, hand her the bag and she hands me a bill for £40. WHAT?! 30 seconds ago it was free...

Total n-bs.

I almost declined to get on the plane.... it was a business trip and I did not really have a choice. Made a complaint and they gave me free baggage on my next flight but there is no need for that. Needless to say its gone in the memory bank, I fly though there quite a bit...

Sorry, as for the OP. I think you must check in - so go to the check in desk with your passport and they will print you a boarding card. I am pretty sure they will charge you... good luck!!

Easy jet - how can somebody give an airline that name knowing they are full of shìt! I've had an easier time rowing a boat! Sleazy jet more like, (not so) cheap flights and staff that look like they are being forced beyond their own will to be at work that are not friendly or helpful, I can't say all the staff are the same as that would be unfair so 98% of them, And Ryan air is the same, that's just like a cattle market! Gate opens and everybody starts fighting for the seats they want, never again what an absolute shambles! I would rather pay a little extra and be able to stay calm when going away, as I was tamping with half the people smashing their way past my pregnant sister, trouble is its the airlines fault for having such a shìt procedure in place, your suppose to be calm and looking forward to going away, the only bit I was looking forward to was getting off the plane back in the uk knowing I had the same bøllocks on the return flight as well

I remember when Ryanair were intending to charge a euro to go for a pi55. I would politely inform them that they are their seats that I'm sat on and I ain't paying a euro

I think you book it in online then just drop it off at the bag drop counter.

All bit crazy, the planes as fast as the slowest passenger

I guess it's for people who like looking round airport shops

Last time I was flying on Monarch they had "Fit to Fly" labels on hand luggage. If you did not have one - they made you put the bag on the scales at the gate. A LOT of people were getting caught out.

I save my easyjet boarding passes as PDF's into Google Drive and then simply open the PDF's at checkin, show it to the staff and everytime they have
accepted it as they can scan the bar code as well, happy days.

I think the easyjet app also holds that info

Budget airlines seem to demonstrate the worst of customer service.Their attitude is 'it's cheap, what do you expect? If you don't like it ,**** off.'
Good,friendly customer care costs nothing.

Is it just us idiot Brits that put up with it? Does anyone know if it's the same in America.I can't imagine they put up with it whatever the cost.

Don't Easyjet need a tear off from the boarding pass to confirm the number of passengers actually getting on board?
I know Ryanair do.
Maybe you can give them half your phone!

Suppose I'm not the complaining type, I look at these people who've just paid less than the price of a good meal to travel several hundred miles, without pedalling, and laugh to myself at their petty gripes

I think EasyJet are one of the best short haul airlines. However, you need to understand and abide by the rules otherwise they'll make money out of you - simple as that really.

I fly them loads and love some of the check in arguments - it's part of the entertainment. My personal favourite is one pice of hand baggage - no madam you can't bring that feckin big handbag as well, it has to go inside.

I'm being forced to fly BA at the moment & I think they are a lot worse - you can only check in 24 hours in advance - what a load of sh1te - on EJ i can print out my boarding passes well in advance and just turn up at the airport and head for the plane
