Default Good grief, I brought the bad weather to France.....

Before we got here on the 29th March, they were talking about Spring, and having 22 degrees. The day we arrived it was fine, ONE DAY since, the rest: crap

So far, we have had two days it didn't rain, and most have been hovering round 5-7 degrees.

Tuesday, we had storms and heavy rain showers, yesterday it started raining at 3pm andf it HASN'T FEKKIN STOPPED SINCE......

When it rains here, it doesn't seem to know how to stop.

We've used almost half a cubic metre of firewood too

A mate is going to France on monday to another mates place.
He has been told it will be 25 degrees!!!

Its pretty far south so who knows.
It would not be funny if it were warmer here whilst hes away over there.

lol - where did you go to alcazar? Weather's been fine here in the Loire Valley and Sunday is due to be 22 degrees with an average of around 20 all week.

P.S. chocolate_o_brian do you know that your signature is completely incorrect, lol it's "Le Moteur" ... masculine not "LA Moteur" feminine therefore all the other parts are incorrect as well

I remember but I put it through Google translate as I changed it. Serves me right for forgetting my French after I left school.

We're in Spain for 1.5 weeks then SW France for 2.5 weeks (all of June). If the weather is bad then I think I'll consider drastic action.

It was a joke Mattee, humour.

I apologise, I'll not try it again.

I'm working in St Johann in Tirol for the rest of the month, sitting out in the garden next to the river, shorts and t shirt. Spring is here! When I go back to France I'm moving to Chamonix, +23 there at the moment

We were SW of Limoges, about 4km from the Dordogne border, from 29th March until yesterday.

First week wasn't bad...some rain, colder than predicted, one warm day we ate outside, the Wednesday.

Then it all fell apart...the cold air from the north was winning, it pushed down and temperatures never got much over 7 again, plus the warm air rose over it and gave us rain...lots of it. It rained over two days for 40 hours straight.

As I said, I've been at Easter before, even earlier than this, and only had a fire lit in the evenings. This was TWO log burners all day. Half a stere of wood in two weeks
