How many people live in fear of carjacking?

Not really. I have additional security on my car and I lock the doors as soon as I get in.
Something I do try to remember when driving is TNT - Tyres 'N' Tarmac - leave a space to the car infront to let you escape trouble. Other than that, no - I'm too busy concentrating on thrashing the nads off it!

Not me. God help it whoever tries to car-jack me. One of us (carjacker or me) will get killed, not just hurt badly. I'm a gambling man so I like my odds.
Keep in mind that the car can also be a deadly weapon....

You've got to enjoy the car really - Chris' reaction is the most sensible - especially the second bit
Just always be sensible i.e. I always check I'm not being followed and there's not people waiting near the car in carparks etc. Oh, and you should do the tyres and tarmac thing anyway...otherwise it's a pain if they break down
