Angry Cling film boxes

Not the most pressing of issues out there, especially on budget day, but, is there a cling film box known to man that doesn't disintegrate and actually produce a length of usable sheet?

I'm thinking more of the cardboard variety with the serrated plastic cutting strip and not some super duper cateringthing.

Was one of my pet hates too - trying to get the start of the roll and then cut a decent length was akin to brain surgery ... we ended up buying a plastic dispenser from Sainsburys, quite expensive (compared to a regular roll) but then you just buy refills for it

Thanks for that link. It just reminded me of something I purchased several years ago! A quick rummage in the loft has produced this

I never got round to using it and just forgot about it when I moved house. Just found it and works a treat! It seems my poorly trimmed cling film woes are over for a while :-)

Cling film is a "woman-only" product.

I swear it 'knows' when a man is trying to handle it. AFAIC, it's the product of Beelzebub!!!

Not just me then

Might have to get one of those special dispensers. Can you just refill it with any old cling film after that?

buy a decent brand like bacofoil that comes in a plastic container like the one above. you can even just buy the refills to make it cheaper in the long run.

I am a man and have no problem using cling film, either i am just more feminine than i think or you guys are a bit "special"

Got one of these and one for tin foil too. Best thing ever invented.

Bought it from Makro IIRC. They are a cockeyed size though so getting the right width refill for them is not always easy

Never use, the box...a decent operative can get a good piece off without anything but tearing it straight.

It's all in the wrist action.

if you buy the really expensive stuff then you get a decent box. However here in MK the outdoor market man does a super cheap cling film in a super thick box. Fantastic!
