Oh nowze, the ice is melting!

Strange that it is always "scientists" who have flown via jet plane then are taken by helicopter to their base camp (full of oil-based tents and methane gas canisters) whilst talking on their (billions to implement) satellite phones to witness these "never before seen" events?

Meanwhile the rest of the world is urged to go back to living in mud huts to "save the planet"

That is truly an awesome sight.
I've walked on a glacier near Banff in Canada and you just do not appreciate their size until you see one close up.

You can't really appreciate the scale of that calving from a video; huge chucks of ice the size of Manhatten up ending and flipping over into the sea.

Agreed. Must be an amazing thing to witness, the sight and sound must be insane in person. Probably quite scary I would expect.
