Default Labour still haven't learned...

They really are trying to be as unelectable as possible! I'm reasonaly sure the amount generated from a (unjust IMO) 'mansion tax' would be nowhere near enough to cover a 10% tax rate, creating YET another Labour-endorsed black hole.

Have they learned nothing while in opposition?

If a party came out and said they would increase stamp-duty on second+ homes, then I'd start listening.

Ed Miliband in 2008, defended Gordon Brown’s abolition of the 10p tax rate:

When you make a big set of changes in the tax system, some people do lose out. That is a matter of regret. Of course it is. But overall these changes make the tax system fairer.

In 2008 he agreed it was fair, now Ed and Ed are saying it needs to be fairer. Yeah whatever....

Not only should Labour start a bit of a learning exercise but so should the Conservative leadership which does not seem to know what to do for the best either these days.

You think this is the beginning of a bromance? Could well be... though I doubt LibDems will get anywhere near the same level as support as they did in the last election, so don't really see the value in it.

It's not the amount of support, it's the fact that it will take someone over the finishing post that counts. Labour have to play for a draw IMO but give credit where credits due Ed has done these kind of deals before
