Any experience anybody?

Used this this afternoon, there's no way making it seal properly where pipe joins cap at master cylinder - now getting got masses of air in the system, cos of course it's forced in to it

i have had good experiences with it (obviously you do need the correct fitting cap)

and have also used it to fill my Diff on the Landcruiser and the Transmission Fluid on my Audi

I don't have a tyre gauge that even gets that low, they specify 20 - I'm pretty sure it was less than 17, I admit I could hear air but went ahead anyway so I suppose I deserve it

But looking the way the brass peice at the end of the pipe fits through the cap that fits, ie about

3/4 mm slop I can't imagine how it could possible be airtight, no matter how tight the nuts are done against each other

Iv ' voiced my concerns' with the makers,

Just wish id gone down the normal route now. The system must be completely full of air presently

I've never had much success with the pressurised bleeding kits

I've always had better luck with my ancient brass inline non-return valve, that connects to the bleed nipple

It's a great bit of kit, use mine evry day in a professional garage, but you need to use about 10 PSI & only the euro cap works properly so no good on a Scooby.

Maybe I'll try 10, it's a mondeo. - but the crux of it is the brass fitting that goes through the cap that fits the reservoir....its not gonna be airtight however tight cos the hole in the cap is too large.

I have one which I used on a Berlingo and it worked a treat. The good thing about the pressure based kits is that they shouldn't introduce air into the system. With the vaccum types air can get in via the threads on the bleed nipples.
Can you use a plumbing rubber washer to seal your cap, I may have done this on mine as I'm forever modifying things not designed right so tend to forget if I have or not?

I had issues with the set of caps that came with the kit, buy the universal fitting big black cap, its worked spot on since.

This should be possible single handed Pacenote..?

At least to the degree where final last couple bubbles can be removed -with another person there

Another attempt with it to make sure, started off ok ( this was 10psi ) and then halfway through noticed air in pipe from reservoir
It doesn't make sense that you can turn the pipe round and round in the brass fitting!

A large waste of time - and what's more they're too tight to supply reasonable length brake nipple tubing to revert to the average way of bleeding brakes, thanks
