Well it's pretty close to being antisemitic isn't it? It is certainly anti-Israel so is that the same thing?
And there are many, including me, who feel Israel does treat the Palestinians pretty roughly.

No. Being anti-Israel, well about current policies and attitudes is not anti-semitic at all.
What he, and the MP who was forced to apologise earlier this week have done is simply point out the hypocrisy of the Israeli authorities on effectively persecuting another group of people based on their race/beliefs.
I don't know why everyone has to apologise for pointing out what is quite disgraceful behaviour and somethign which helps fuel terrorism here as we are seen to support those actions.
That's not the same as having a go at Jewish groups here who are not taking part in any of this.
