I am currently reading Winged Warriors, the cold war from the cockpit and can thoroughly recommend it if you enjoy planes.
Asymmetric flying and landing in a Canberra sounds like it was a bit of a challenge.
As long as you followed the good rules when you were on one engine it was ok. It was a very silly mistake to let the speed get low on the approach and if you needed to use power then to climb back onto the glide path you risked the rudder stalling which was when the aircraft had a habit of doing a flick roll followed by an inverted arrival. So many people lost their lives because of that.
The other fear was to lose an engine just after take off below "safety or critical speed" which was when the rudder could do its aforementioned stalling trick followed by the final flick roll!
Apart from all that it was a very good aircraft and I did my fair share on it in Germany during the Cold War complete with a bucket of sunshine in the boot!
