Default Local 'Chavs' coming out to play!

Been out walking in the snow with the other half and the dog earlier and almost got taken out by some kid in a vauxhall corsa who thought it was fun to impress his 'girl' by whipping up the handbrake in a dead end road. No surprise he lost it and came flying towards us. I think a curb to the side of the wheels might have taught him a lesson!

Also have a fiesta doing 'the circuit' at stupid speed, a matter of time before he hits a car or something, he certainly s*#t up an rx8 who was struggling big time.

I only live in a village in the country, so wonder what fun people are having in the towns with more of these people.

Anyone had any other experiences or near misses so far this morning?

The sensible answer of course is to use a big empty car park.

I will be indulging in my usual spectator sport now that we have a couple of inches of snow.Outside my place there is a fairly tight 90 degree bend.

It's surprising how many people think they can go round it at the same speed they would when it's dry.

I managed to get my Discovery fully sideways round a unexpected tight bend on a country road today. It was by accident and it did make me want to Destroy my ABS system that decided today that slowing down in snow is a crime ( who the **** puts ABS on an off roader any way). I was well impressed with my driving skill in keeping it one the road as was my passenger, I fell is justified all my years of cocking about in cars.
I did see some terrible driving today though, a woman who accelerated to make it through an amber light then decided, having past the light to stamp on the brakes and stop blocking the roundabout with two of the cars behind her now alongside as they swerved away from going up her ****. Another genius who tried to stop at a junction (joining the a508 at roade for those that know it) and went straight on across the road into a ditch.

I'm surprised I didn't see more people in accidents during my 50 mile round trip. Just saw the odd person sliding out from the side roads, I'm sure people don't understand the simple fact you slide on snow!

No snow down here. In fact it's quite mild at about 7degC. so people are diving normally.

The black blob pulling off the lights in the 2nd clip @3.56 looks like it might have been me.

Though i'm not 100% but i'd do a drive by once and a while and i never saw another black blob wrx in notts when i first got mine in 04.

I'm an internet superstar.

Think you will find Luan that every off roader has ABS now.

What was this mid / late 90's?

Proper chavs lol, predominantly seems to be that stereotype in them days, trackies and thinking your a big hard man.
Got to love some of them cars though!

Funny how times change and new styles / fasion come along, all just as embarrassing as each other lol.

Thanks

Considering the number of time I "may" have raced from Eastwood to Notts of a night - something was always bound to happen

But I had less incidents than others for sure !
