Costa Concordia salvage method
I thought this was quite interesting to see how the salvage is progressing and the method they are going to use to rotate it back to the upright position.

WOW, that is one amazing project.
Mind you, the pikeys would have it gone in one night if they could get to it.

From my experience from the ships i own for my bath - all you need to do is just lift it up out of the water at one end, let the water drain out and re-float......... simples
Can't see why they cant do that here

I tried it earlier and it failed, but worked some time afterwards.

On the way pack, tell him to pick up some tartan paint, and a skirting board ladder.

£500m is just the start apparently
Scrap value can't be much can it?
Who pays for all this I wonder - ship's owner or Lloyds?
Fantastic achievement in getting her back up though
