Default What is your hobby?

Having dealt with the festive season quite badly due to personal problems, I've decided to give up the aul drink for 2012 so a new hobby is needed. What do you do to enjoy your free time?

My "hobby" so to speak has always been movies and home cinema but lately I just can't enjoy the films I used to so I'm a bit stuck. I'm even tempted to start giving up my time to help others but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Running, cycling, surfing, bizarrely cleaning the cars, playing with the kids, swimming, weights. Overdid the training last year and totalled my immune system for a year. Now take proper rest data twice a week!

Oh and camping in our "pikey" camper ;-)

Sorry you have not had a great time.

I think that part of 'what to do' is a great idea - why not especially if you have some life experiences you can use to help other have a better life?

Not knowing much about 'you' why not look at something like Army Cadets, Scouts etc or even helping out for charity. You will find something like this very rewarding and you will see that you have made a difference.

For the record I do Army Cadets and seeing the difference it makes to the youngsters who come through makes it all worth while - even the parents tell you it has.

If you want to know some more on things like the above let me know. I am sure I can point you in the right direction.

I don't know where you guys get the time lol. My life seems to crash from one hectic day to the next, and I'm up early and in bed late every day.
I'm attempting to build a 2.1, just moved into a new house and can't wait to start decorating, and have an assessment for my bike license in January.

Prior to becoming disabled I enjoyed making bespoke wooden furniture and hunting for bargains in antique centres and car boot sales.
