Exclamation 3p a Litre Fuel Price Hike Vote Tonight!

Yes, Labour have caused a vote in the House of Commons to defeat the Tories and Liberals plan to implement a 3p/Litre rise in Tax Duty on your fuel in January 2013.

Labour, the low Tax Party, will be voting against the implementation.

Hopfully the Tories and Liberals will follow suit ..... early signs are that the Tories will be seen as the HIGH Tax party!

Watch, take note - and use your vote!!

Remember how much extra we'd be paying if your numpties were voted in last time??

Let me refresh your memory it's around the 13p mark!!

Plus this rise was one LABOUR set in plans days before they left office, yet the same pleb ***** who made the increase is campaigning against it.

Hmmmmm two faced, publicity hungry, wastes of space.

The price of fuel is scandalous! It's about £1.40 for a GALLON of fuel in Canada (As of March this year) yet we're getting fisted left right and centre by our scum bag Govts trying to raise money for their second homes with duck ponds in the back gardens! *******!

I'm sure the vote isn't to scrap it but as to postpone it till say May when they reckon people can afford the hike.

I think the increase SHOULD go ahead.
In fact, make it 5p more.

Keep the plebians off the roads.

And while they're at it, increase the TV licence fee by at least £30 per year.

You haven't said anything about it being a Labour idea, brought in by ***** though?

And the Conservatives opposed it then?

In my book that makes them ALL thieving *****.

That's it then .... Labour wants the Tax delayed.

The Toffy Tories want your money from January!!

You can defeat them when you next vote - you know what to do everyone!!

Lets look at this another way.

Tories defeat Labour today so Ozzy can announce the defer in the increase in his late November mini- budget, thus not being seen to have done a u-turn or been beaten by Labour.

It really is that simple.

Labour wanted a climb down ..... now.

The Tories will climb down later.

Is that what you're saying?

If so, then they are playing politics with our concerns ......

B4stard Tories!!

..but a couple of months ago i was paying £1-39 a lee-tur, yet filled up tonight at only £1-31 - so what is a mere three pee more to your "average earner" on £55K?

I don't really care ...... I get 550 miles to a tank these days - going from the Scooby to the Honda diesel has effectively meant I am now paying just 70p a Litre!!

That helps someone on the £55k average wage.

Thats a bit of a daft statement to make, fuel prices affect every single thing we purchase.

That's what'll happen, they're climb down at a time of their choosing
Plus - FairFuel will pile on the pressure again and save us, like it has in the past.

Against a backdrop of massive tax avoidance by big business I'd be surprised if this actually does go ahead.

No Pete you pay the same for fuel as everyone else for your dirty fuelled old technology engine. And it was originally a Ball's Up idea and your now against it!

Oh the irony.

Osborne will do what he wants when he wants. If he needs the extra cash the rise will go on and everyone will scream and shout for a couple of days and then life will go on as normal. It's the way of the British these days!

Nothing anyone does or says is going to make any difference including the utterly ineffectual Fairfuel campaign!

Why do you think Labour is making a fuss about the 3p rise Pete? Do you think it might just be for political capital? Do you honestly think Labour would not have laid the duty rise on us if they were in power?

Really?
So the previous planned increases that was dropped, was just a co-incidence?
Nothing to do with the press coverage, and interest that the fairfuel campaign generated in the house of commons and press?

Ker-ching, the penny drops! Nothing whatsoever! I am genuinely fascinated to know why anyone would think otherwise
