Why dont they just kick him out and deal with the consequences from the ECHR later. After all what are they going to do? Plus he is a Jordanian citizen and last time I looked Jordan was not in the EU so what has it got to do with them anyway? Plus why are there so many judges and lawyers so determined to allow these scumbags to stay in the UK.

Probably wouldn't cost a lot in the great scheme of things to get a bullet put in his head.

And he's still here now breaching his bail conditions:

Qatada held over bail breach

Wonder what Teflon Theresa will have to say... nothing of any use I would imagine!

They're too busy applying the law at the expense of good old fashioned common sense!
It's alright saying 'well the law says this and the law says that' but apply some common sense for God's sake. If the law is inadequate then amend it, it's no use applying medieval rules in a modern society.

Are you suggesting that I don't hold my breath?
I like the 100K a week police protection bill that is spoken of - makes me want to phone up HMRC and ask if I can volunteer any extra funding for all the good work they are doing on my behalf.

If you do call them count me in too, always happy to pay more for such a sensibly run country

I see now May has said that IF the Tories win the next election they MAY leave European Convention on Human Rights.

What a lovely little non commital soundbite that is.

Let me try one. If I become a millionaire next year I may give £250K to Save the Tigers. What a great chap I am

They really are the party of talk not action!

Our magnificent and inspirational leader did say before the last election that he would hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty as we are entitled to have under the reasons which were laid down, and also that he would create a British bill of human rights.

These solid promises had a very big effect on the election helping him and his party to get into power.

What has happened over the last 3 years or so then? Where did those promises go?

Can he ever be trusted in the future I ask?

Would you trust his latest promises which he has published to enforce should he be elected in 2015?

She wont resign she wants the top job and will not start making her play for it should the Tories do badly in the May elections and the budget be badly received.

this is the same May who said she'd look after Police officers. She's overseen the biggest ******* over of the police, careers in ruins and many now looking for a new job.

She also said police officers hould deal with nothing but crime but now is saying we should prioritise MH issues............she's a politician and I wouldn't believe a thing she'd say

Couldn't agree more and even amongst politicians she seems the most rotten of the rotten apples. What she has done to the police is nothing short of disgusting. And to think people thought this lot would be different to the last lot

Looks like you are right on this one.
Still, should be good news for anyone subject to deportation to the US in view of their proclivity to imprison people on the basis of information gained using torture in Guantanamo Bay without due process
