All very true. my wife is a veggie and a PITA veggie to boot. No garlic, onions, spices or seasonings (which if you think about it, are all the main ingredients that go into veggie food to stop them being bland !!! )
She always uses Quorn and the only thing that tastes any good is the mince in lasagne and pasta bakes. Tastes fine and you cant really tell.
But the quorn roast !! Looks like a big fat pale sausage and heaven forbid you drop it, it will bounce straight back up

Some of it just looks plain wrong like the bacon & sausages.
The mince I can handle in lasagne. In Bolognese etc it’s the wrong texture. The chicken pieces are ok in a quick stir fry and handy as keep them in the freezer.
The wife has the roast log thing at Xmas and I just thank the lord I am not veggie as get to tuck into a nice rib of beef done medium rare

My wife is a veggie and lives on it. The mince is ok but not very textured.
As mentioned the Facon (Bacon style) is rotten, it stinks, doesnt go moist when cooked and is just unpalatable.
The chicken dippers etc are ok but the best tasting products are the ones which contains the mince (pies etc), or chicken style stuff.
It is pretty much mushroom grub, not as processed as you think if you do a bit of reading and is certainly better for you than most fatty meat processed products.

My wife is a veggie also (common theme it seems!). We have the Quorn mince and I prefer it to the real meat version to be honest.
If we're making a curry we'll use the chicken style pieces and they're ok but I find if I eat too much of them I feel ill.
Sausages we have make called Cauldron which I can stomach much more than Quorn's or Linda McCartneys

I didn't find Quorn too bad to eat but my stomach totally detests it. Gave me some real discomfort a few hours later and I haven't eaten it since. I'll stick to real meat I think!
