Do the Scottish get a better deal ?
How is it the Scottish get free prescriptions, free university, free care for the elderley etc etc ?
I suspect those of us down south pay more in to the tax system yet get less out, am I missing something, seems very generous of the Scottish Parliament to vote these things through and use tax from the rest of the UK !

Does seem a bit unfair that I have to pay eight quid for a prescription that subsidises someone elses, in Scotland, who is also quite able to pay, why should my kids pay eight grand a year tuition fees to further their education yet those in Scotland dont have to ?

Thats why we want independence, why the hell should folk have to pay for tuition to bring skills to the country and ffs folk work like hell all there lifes and then have to pay the robbing english government care for the elderly, tax when yer born till the day you die, no thanks.

You also have bigger obesity, drink and heart problems. You take more per head out of the Exchequer too.
I can't wait for you to get independence.

i believe the scottish govt gets a budget from westminster and is allowed to use it as they see fit. dont blame the scots cause you dont get free precriptions etc, complain to your M.P.. you cant say your subsidising free stuff in scotland, i agree if you can afford to pay then you should, but then why should i pay for my inhalers (that i need) yet some junkie can get methodone for free?
£8 grand in fees for further education? thats your choice to do it, or you could apply to get a uni in scotland? then you could argue that someone from scotland loses out that place if you get it?

I also cant wait to see the english goverment squeel when they no longer have access to our natural resources and cant leech off our economy
Have a good long think about it , if we were a drain on england the english goverment would not have tried so hard to keep us for so long.
dont get me wrong I like the english people
but I think the english goverment are parasites 
scotland is a wealth of natural resources and when we get independence I cant wait to see what the english goverment will do without them
C'mon salmond you have my vote !
I will even take holidays on the day of the vote so I am not offshore on a oilrig at the time

Logical thought is not something Salmond does. He now wants to be in NATO with Regiments and Battalions who struggle to recruit. Will all the Fijian soldiers retain their citizenship and rights?
Non resident jocks can't vote!
If jock MP's are allowed to vote in Westminster, why can't they vote in a jock election?
Natural resources that are running out?
Salmond is starting to get ****e from the MSP's over the "legal" advice he's got! Is he telling pork pies?
Bring all the Defence jobs from Faslane down south, the Army
Personnel Centre in Glasgow and all the dosh the relocated Germany units would have brought

My job offshore is running multi million pound tools down oil wells to scan and see if there
Is oil and our rescources are far from running out !
Best not to assume on things more so when it is a specialist in that
Specific field you are saying them to
As I said good luck to you when our resources are no longer being stolen by your government.
Also we have more resources than oil

i dont like him, or any politician tbh, but i do think we would be worse off being independant with him leading the way - the guys a fckin a*sehole.

Alan Salmond held up Iceland and Eire as examples of how to a run a country!
What about the jock's working down south, why can't they vote?
Will foreign nationals (non EU) have to pay for all the delights mentioned in the OP?
The companies investing the money are looking closely at the future, if Salmond imposes "Oil Tax" would they stay? If there is so much oil there why do we import so much?

As a proud Brit first and secondly Englishman, I do not want to see Scotland go independent.
I don’t feel it would serve any of us well. We have a huge amount of shared history and culture. I think that we could never really be truly independent of one-and-other anyway; there are far too many practical and psychological ties.
Some of the separatists need to be careful what they wish for, yes Scotland has fantastic resources to call upon, but do they really think they are best served by handing them over to Alex Salmond and the rest of his Marxist brigade? Scotland would very quickly go bust, if his brand of politics were allowed to properly take hold.
