Evening Meal - what time?
My wonderful missus and I do not agree on the time for an evening meal
So what time do you guys 'n gals sit down for a meal together in the evening. KFC after the pub does not count btw.

5:30 in the week and about 6pm on the weekend. We have a nearly 3-year-old and like us all to eat together, so that is the time the old man walks in.

i just have meal when im hungry, no point just eating because its x oclock. although if family revolve around 9-5 jobs/school then a structered meal time may be easier.
childrens meal 5-6pm.
me, i just time it to fit in my required nutrient intake for the day.

Between 6 and 6.30 every night, always with the kids at the table, and no telly in the room - we have teenagers, it's the only time they speak to us

And yes you're right in a way but things change over time. No kids, kids, kids leave home, animals to look after etc etc. All effect meal times.
Both working and before kids we would eat latish but now kids are gone. I like eating late but missus is an early bird, hence the post.
Thanks for replies, David
Gotta go - supper ready

My view is that one need not starve for the other one. Early one can eat early, and later one can eat later- job done. Have your Sunday roast together, though.
But if you have to eat early together, which makes you hungry again before bed time, you can demand a butty (evening supper before bed), you know. You can even make one yourself without troubling Mrs. Lock. I'm sure she won't mind as long as you leave some bread for the breakfast and some filling for next day's lunch.

keeps a steady metabolism, and gives me the nutrients i want.
although what id consider ameal many wouldnt.
i cant eat massive amounts of food in one sitting, so id say what the average persons sunday roast - that would be halfed and do me 2 meals , although id up the macro's in accordance with my requirments.
