Chap i work with trying them, he's a lifelong smoker.

Conclusions; they give you the nicotine hit you need (apparently the American ones are stronger), they are hard to buy because tobacco companies obviously don't want them promoted, one lasts about the same as a packet of real cigarettes, and finally because they don't contain tar or carcinogens, he sees them as a risk-free way to continue "smoking". That is all i know!

Thanks T, I must say the thought of sitting in a pub with a pint and a "cigarette" does appeal.

I wish you luck.

It is hard,I only managed with the help of a stay in hospital, but I would not recommend falling off the roof as an aid!

I've got one, bit hard to get used to at first as it seems almost like your sucking through a straw.

I've tried em and didn't really rate them , I smoke 20/30 a day and it wasn't really a great substitute , better than nowt though
A guy at work is into vaping , it's the same principle as the e-ciggeretes , but
Not in cigarette form , battery last longer and it's easy to get a proper draw

Check it out on google ,, vaping

I tried a few drags off a friend's electonic cigarette. The vapour (of 18mg strength) was too strong for me. It spun my head for a moment and gave me a terrible headache. I know a lot of people who have given up after starting electronic cigarettes. Worth it, methinks.

The landlord at my local has went from 40 a day to none using one. His one has different flavours of liquid that can be used.
