I have 2 young boys and the thought of one falling into the sea makes me shudder but then to get sick ****'s doing this kind of thing is another level of lowness! They want putting in the stocks for this!

I wouldn't write off the possibility that it's some extremely thick person's way of making them feel better. The first comment looks genuine enough. The second certainly looks like it could be someone taking the p*ss, but you never know.

I did the same actually. While there have been some vile things posted recently (abusing Tom Daley about his dad for example) this looks like it could be the very misguided attempts of a complete idiot to say somethign nice.

However, it is still completely stupid and insenitive. It amazes me that whoever did write it didn't realise what would happen.

I hear the mum on the radio this morning, sounded heartbroken as you would saying she wished it was her, I dont even want to think about it as my kids are down the beach a lot of the time, obviously supervised but I've lost count of the amount of people who have jumped into the sea where I am to save there dogs and never returned.

I'm sure the Mum must be absolutely heartbroken but just watching her on telly now she seems a very strong woman and seems to be coping amazingly well. Poor little kid.

Yep, seems like well meaning but misguided sympathy, usually trolls don't like any possibility of being misconstrued.
