Default Bolton Pc Solutions

Anybody know the above company and had dealings with them. I have an issue with them and I would advise people to stay away from them.

http://www.boltonpcsolutions.co.uk/

I will elaborate more later as I need the people of scoobynet to help me on this as this guy is trying to scam me.

Normally I would just let it go but the sum of money involved is for a friend who doesn't have much.

The latest review on FreeIndex doesn't bode well either:

Ordered and paid for software from their online shop and they didn't send it. When I emailed them numerous emails they ignored them, didn't even have the decency to reply. I had to file a dispute to pay pal, and eventually got a refund. Ordered items on 1st May and received refund (from Pay Pal) on the 9th June.

If the Administrator of this website wants any evidence of this transaction I will be happy to email all relevant details.

I would have very much liked to have given good feedback for this company as I thought they done a good deal on their software. Unfortunately they did not respond.

If they're not responding to you, go to the bank they were paid through or report the issue to PayPal if you used them.

Not only is the site a mess - many (most) of the images and text appear to be, er, borrowed (as in, directly linked to or copied) from other computer repair businesses.

Looks very dodgy!

Agreed but this isnt about something bought from the website.

I shall update soon. He is threatening me with legal action if I say anything so want to get the facts straight.

But I will be doing all I can so people don't deal with him.

Shouldn't be too difficult with such a crap website though.

Can't imagine why the guy is single can you.

http://www.facebook.com/boltonlaptop#!/derek.howcroft

Basically this is an ebay issue and the lies coming out of this guys mouth is shocking.

Anyone that knows me, knows that I wouldn't lie about any item I sell. I shall post up the full story sometime tomorrow but I need to speak directly to ebay first.

He has opened a dispute against me and will probably win but I will ensure I put as many people off using Bolton Pc and Bolton Laptops as I can.

From the offset its obvious this guy has taken off the parts he requires and will be sending me junk back.

I just hope karma exists.

Well if he treats his customers by making up lies am sure the reviews will stack up.

Look up what he sells on ebay, hardly an IT guy you would want to deal with unless you have an xbox with the ROD.

Well as long you only state the truth I really do not see what he could sue you for.

The truth is I sold an item on ebay and this joker has lied to ebay saying a part was missing when I have 5 people to verify it was packed and sent.

Basically he has taken the part in question and ebay have found in favour so he is sending it back minus the part he wanted plus no doubt any other parts.

Send him a letter giving him fourteen days to collect his property and pay the money owed. On the fifteenth day, either through moneyclaimonline or at your local County Court, start proceedings against him.

Say what you like about the lying Jabba the Hut - looking bell-end. 'Suing' is for the wealthy, and its little more than empty and ignorant talk for Derek.

I had to visit Bolton on Friday to collect some parts from a Porsche specialist that I couldnt get elsewhere. What a crap hole filled with freaks.

God made the Pennines for a reason!

He has stolen off me in a roundabout way, I don't know whether to just chalk down to experience or post everywhere about this guy.

I'd return the favour. Either you or a friend with a different ebay user name buy something from him. Remove a bit and put a claim in.

It obviously won't help your current situation but it would teach him a lesson.

Then leave him negative feedback.

Its not me though, I don't want to go to his level.

I will just ensure this is posted everywhere, if it turns a few people away from him then good.

I've always been honest but I suppose people like him don't have a conscious.

Will see what he posts back and see what action I take.

I bet a load of that recovery software on cd he is selling on ebay is freeware. I've pretty much stopped using ebay now because of ***** like this and sell through the local paper where you have to meet the buyer face to face and there can be no arguments over what has been sold and its condition etc.
