LOL is it that obvious (Olymphicks 2012)
So I came across this picture on a sister website called abovetopsecret:
Didn't think much to it...then as the author stated, there was something screwed up about it:
WTF...is this some kind of joke? It's insensitive at best...if that was the other way round, a Jew or Israeli (yes there is a difference) was depicted in the same way you wouldn't hear the end of it.
There seems to be a lot of hype around the Olympics...I sincerely hope to god nothing happens, to anyone, period.
But I can't help thinking that if something does happen, it will be the catalyst for a complete change and the start of a war that no one will want to have on their conscience.

Reading too much into I think. He looks like millions of people around the world and tens of thousands of people in the UK.

You could read this both way, if there was not a man in a turban would the question be asked why not??

I just think they've tried to get every 'token' going into the picture, as is usual these days with any government/BBC produced print medium/programme.
Watch something like a kids TV program these days you've got one of every colour/creed shoehorned in there...

I prefer the good old stereotype days.
When i was a wee lad every black guy had to speak patio, every chinese guy knew karate and kung fu, all the brownie's had a shop and the English were terrible racist singers.
