Unhappy Irish car tax.

Mate in Ireland posted this link, when I moaned about spending £445 online taxing my two cars today. Makes you think.

Ireland's fcuked though, I saw the whole thing develop bit by bit
Then they got too big for their boots.
Even now with a fcuked economy they still try to charge top dollar for everything

Yeah but that is probably in Euros though. My yearly road tax on my MY00 2L impreza GT is €146 where as my 1991 Mini Cooper with no cats in €329 here in Germany.

Yeah it is my 2.0 would be €660, which is £532, as opposed to my £220 actual tax.

Yeah, it is euros.
But for comparison.
My car is approx £440 to tax in the UK
In Ireland its approx £970!

And they wonder why the car sales are wrecked!
