Default Arbeit macht frei..........?

OK, we all recognise it, but where did it come from ORIGINALLY?

Did the ***** hi-jack it, and is it just a damn good saying? Or did they come up with it for their own purposes?

I think the DSS* need to hijack the slogan.

Doubtless the ***** used it to give a bit of false hope to all those thousands of prisoners as they were unloaded from the goods carriages on the trains which brought them to the concentration camps.

Difficult to think of a blacker period of history when it comes to "Man's inhumanity to man."
