Using a mobile phone abroad and buying a payg sim whislt there
Thinking about getting a sim card for use whilst on holiday in the Canaries but are they stupidly expensive?
Just want to get a payg sim card to stick in an android phone to use for 3g and internet access whilst there (obviously phone will be network unlocked).
Anyone bought one in Spain before that was cheap/a good deal?

It looks like I wont be doing the sim thing anyway as can't find a cheap enough android phone (so can use the wifi hotspot feature for iphone and ipad etc to connect to for the 3g access).

Just found an Android touch screen phone with wifi/3g for £29.99 (price of a 3g laptop dongle) so will get it unlocked and then try using it abroad on one of the sims mentioned above as a wifi hotspot device.
