Definitely NSR - a few vids of the band I'm in.
I'm in a band called the Funkatronic Love Commandos.
Playing Funk & Disco covers at the moment, but also writing original material in the same style
Here's a selection of the set - hope you like it.

Love Foolosophy

Disco Inferno

I'm the keyboard player (for all my sins)
The room was a tad on the small side (local beer festival), so a lot of kit (including my monitoring system) was left out!!
Great little gig - almost a lounge-style.
Enjoy!!!

Not quite my style but some obvious talent there. Like the Sax and guitar work on Funky Music. Looks like everyone is enjoying themselves

Thanks- totally appreciate that it won't be to all tastes, but we enjoy it. Yeh the space was rather compact, to say the least!!!!
As such, I took less kit than I normally take, but I was using my Roland XP30 as a top tier, and my Korg Kronos as the main machine. Usually have a full ACS T1 in-ear-monitor system, but left them for that gig (too much kit for a small gig) so I used my sony ear buds for abit of noise reduction and basic monitors.
Run the whole lot through a mackie mixer before being sent to FOH.

Lol. True, but at least they all try!!
Always try to do some pub gigs as precursors to the weddings, festivals anther private stuff we do. Great way to keep the exposure up.

In this day and age of horrible compressed downloads, software manipulation of voices and half of scoobynet thinking they are 'superstar djs' I have the utmost respect for anybody who stands up and plays a real instrument or sings.
I'd love to be able to do either but lack any talent in this regard. Well done, I like it.

How are you finding the Kronos ? I was thinking of investing in one, but they're a lot of cash ! Did you get the weighted key version ?

I managed to get one of the very first in the country last year (thanks Korg) - and I got a 61 key model.
There have been issues with the 73/88 note versions, but I speak as I find, I unpacked mine on the Thursday, dived straight into editing it (got a few years of Korg/Music Tech experience ) and gigged it on the Saturday!
Gigged it and used it in MANY sessions since, including one at Peter Gabriel's Real World - all high pressure environments.
The machine has operated flawlessly. The key thing for me is the Set List mode - a truly brilliant, yet simple aspect that makes my gigging life simple.
Before this machine, I had 2 synths, a MacBook Pro, 16-channel interface etc etc and it was a real PITA tbh.
Yes, they are a lot of money, and I'll contact you via pm to go into more detail about the machine - I could get VERY "anoraky"
