I have the HTC HD7 is that an andriod? Since the day I got it I've wanted to launch it against a wall. But I'm on 2yrs so while I'm being **** ****ed the worst thing about it is when using the flash light -

which yes is bright if you touch any of the huge screen or three sensitive buttons at the bottom it closed the ap. Stupid considering you use a tourch in the dark and your palm has to hold the end the ligh isn't on. GRRRrrrr

Luckily for you Google have announced today that they're stopping development of Android. No money in it apparently.

You need to check your notification settings. My phone doesn't need to be on charge to chime alarms, SMS, email or calendar notifications.

My iPhone will easily overnight on 10%, maybe less. That and thousands of other areas where my phone is better than yours must be the most irritating thing about Android.

No, the most irritating thing about Android is that it always attracts the myopic Apple fanboys!

Exactly, people like me just using their devices whilst others swear and throw theirs out the window must be irritating.

My Android (Samsung S2) will happily go for 56 hours on a single charge, and easily go overnight on 10% charge without fiddling with any settings (other than turning off gps and wifi - which I've scheduled to happen automatically when I'm at home and the time hits midnight). Struggling to see why that makes your iPhone better?

On my iPhone, (even from new) if I turned on wifi and gps, the battery would last about 4-5 hours if I was lucky. The S2 is miles better, and will go through the night with it all turned on, I just don't see the point in wasting the battery so have it scheduled to automatically turn off unwanted features depending on the time of day and my location

I'm sorry, did you just say that you can have an app that can automatically enable/disable radios, profiles, tones, apps and pretty much every other function of the phone imaginable, all based on anything from time of day to location to calendar entry, message sender or incoming caller, or any combination thereof, without having to root/jailbreak?

Must suck being able to do that.
