Thanks, found a local place (FreeFlowBikes) that stocks them, might go there this afternoon.
As per the OP, are Cube really that good and specifically that Aim model?

If you do want suspension look for one where you can lock the forks out as I found when I first started cycling and was using a front suspension mtb I was losing a lot of power through the front forks.

I bought a Claude Butler off a mate of a mate for £50. Aluminium frame and wheels, Lots of Shimano 21 speed etc. No suspension or anything but I think you have to pay serious money for good air suspension. My point being for an A-B bike you don't worry too much about locking up and leaving, some good stuff available second hand.

Looks like i'm gonna get a Cube. The local shop does 0% finance, so i'll probably blow my budget to ****.

i know the 'aim' is at the lower end of the price scale but ive seen it in the flesh (so to speak) and its an awsome looking bike. i thought about the disc version but for me personally i dont need disc brakes so why spend more. like ive said above its cost me £221 which im paying monthly so i wont miss it as much

Lovely looking bikes and built to match, with good kit. Winna winna chicken dinner.
Let me know how you get on with it and your thoughts.

The only downside of that bike is the forks, they are Suntour which arn't very good. When i was researching mountain bikes the common theme that kept on cropping up was to avoid suntour forks, in this sort of price range Rock Shox forks are a lot better.
Ideally disc brakes are much better especially hydraulic.
It looks a nice bike tho, you can easily change things like forks if you want too.

Even though this one has Suntour forks i'd still say its a better buy for the money with Hydraulic brakes, Carrera bikes get good reviews.
