I loved the original total recall
it was one of the best films in my opinion of that era.
when I read it was getting remade I thought the same as you guy's
but then I seen the teaser and it looks pretty good.
I am just hoping the director does not mess it up which happens with alot of remakes.
If the director pulls it off it has the potential to be an amazing movie as the story is very good.
but there is a 80% it gets fooked up and the movie will turn out pure gash.
well thats my opinion anyway

It has a chance but Colin Farrell is hardly the greatest of actors. That alone casts a bit of a shadow over the film.
And since when did trailers for films get their own trailers?
This 30 second trailer is a trailer for the main trailer that gets released on Sunday?

The original was a classic. One of my favourite films. This one had better live up to something similar. If they start to murder it, i'll just stop watching it.

Some remakes are very good, True Grit being an example, and the recent Batman films are much better than the ones in the 80/90s. And don't forget 'The Thing' in 1982. The original was very good for it's time, but John Carpenter made a cracker.
I didn't think the original Total Recall was a particularly good film, but it was an Arnie film, so it had a certain charm that made it enjoyable.
I don't know what Colin Farrell will be like, but I'll certainly give it a watch with an open mind.

Just had a nosey at the teaser and it looks like it might be pretty good, and with Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel I'm interested, although Sharon Stone was rather appealing in the original. As much as I loved the 80's classic, it was a total cheese-fest, whereas this new one looks much slicker.

I'm getting a little tired of these **** re makes, stop ruining my childhood memories film industry.Back then those were the days when movies were full on explosive..
I remember watching the Terminator at a metes house, the good old video tape was just magic Arnie and I'll be back.
Sharon stone was a pure Sex kitten.
The Running man was one of my favorite movies.
Now a days movies are good, but for all the special effects etc,you still can't beat the old movie stars and films.
Cliffhanger another classic movie....
