Falklands
Am i the only one whos finds it amusing that as soon as oil is found argentina show interest in the falklands again.
They seem to go back to x hundred year old claim to the island. But as far as i can tell the islanders, who are now on multiple generation level want to stay with the UK.
I can't see argentina picking a fight cos it will be over extreamly quickly even with the limited resources the brit military has, but they do seem to be getting 3rd work countries like peru involved lol

Not quite right....
South america is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and big oil producer. Notice that Brazil's economy overtook the UK's just a few weeks ago.
Oil has always been a possibility, that's why we hung onto the place originally, it's a gateway to Antartica so although it's tiny, it means controlling some important bits of resource.
Given we've really upped the security on the island since the invasion, current thinking is that it will be impossible to actually attack and land troops now.
