Default Strange ebay prices apprearing lately ??

Anyone else noticed the amount off wrong pricing that has suddenly started appearing within a lot off power sellers adverts lately on ebay ?? first noticed this a few weeks ago when searching around for headlamp bulbs, there were adverts asking prices like £10000 for a pair off bulbs !! have noticed this a good few times when searching various items and even today the " deal off the day " on the ebay homepage priced at £9.999.99 would certainly not appear to be such a deal after all !! especially for a jacket but then again it does include free postage and packaging ??!!

appreciatte we can all make mistakes when typing out adverts but why the sudden upsurge in these type off adverts ?

its all to do with the way the search results are sorted on ebay, if you watch that item the price will change in the future.

I've noticed this happening when an item is currently out of stock. They'll put the price artificially high so as nobody orders it. Its probably easier for them to do this rather than removing the listing

This is an interesting read and another possible explanation. Maybe some price tracking software has become available?
