She wants to go North Devon , I'm not really fust.
Obviously I dont to much of a jaunt but we are basically after a nice hotel/whatever with safe parking.
Nice food in and available out.
She has mentioned the Woodlands hotel in Sidmouth, ever heard of it? ( I know, now we have gone south)

You say hotel but if your interested i can highly recommend a great campsite, in north devon, nr woolacombe, run by my aunty and uncle!
www.damagebarton.co.uk
Its excellent and very safe, i work on the farm as much as i can and i would live there if i could!!
But this only applies if u wanna live in a tent for a while, as scoobys dont do caravan towing.

North devon is the best part "if you want to do some good driving"
The roads are really quite. Sidmouth is a nice town to stay in, 8 miles from Mansell's golf course and it has a small museum, cups cars, if thats your thing. Bude is my favourite and there is a small but excellent cinema 3 miles from there. Also if you get time go to the Duke of York in iddesleigh excellent pub with the best food iv'e found and you can never manage a sweet after,
Come to think of it they have rooms as well 01837 810253 how helpfull am I oh and the bargirl hannah is well pretty.
it's in a small village so safe for the car but you'll have to drive a little to sight see. Let us know where you went, what you thought

dont know north devon so well... but Bude is a lovely place and there are loads of great little places to stay there, car parking is fairly safe anywhere there, it not a crime hotspot!!!!
Sidmouth is ok....... if you are 80...... other than that would only really recomend if you like getting blown along the sea front in 90 mile an hour winds!!!!!!!!

hello, i am from north devon even though i work up in the SE, and am driving down to devon this afternoon / tonight if you wanna join me.
The roads in North Devon are great, and any of the Brend Hotel's (ie saunton sands) are very nice.
If you want a hotel in Barnstaple (the nearest town), try the Imperial, it is nice, and quite cheap. Alternatively if you want a fantastic hotel by the beach you want the Woolacombe Bay Hotel , that looks great and is a stones throw from the beach.
Phone me if you want me to show you some of the best roads EVER and you fancy going out early one morning....

My Choice would be the Kittiwell House Hotel, Croyde Bay North Devon, just round the corner from Saunton Sands.
Great hotel, great food and some surfing - Dude
