Default Decent streaming movie service

Anyone know a decent movie streaming service?

Was subbed to lovefilm streaming service (£9.99 a month) but the subscription gets you old and b movies only pretty much. Anythign new and you have to pay for it

Anyone know a decent service that give you new films etc without having to pay extra?

I can get skymovies through my virgin box's i know, but thats £30 a month pretty much.

Anyone got an deas?

I got a voucher for Acetrax through Samsung, it's pretty good as it's pay as you view rather than via subscription, and has some recent films. It's recently added Hangover 2 and Conan for example.

I did the one week free trial of Lovefilm and found the same as you, hardly anything worth watching on its streaming service.

Edit: The downside I think is that it is only available on certain tvs.

problem is with pay per view is they tend to be silly money, £3.50 a film or summit, watch 2-3 films a week and your over £30.

Guess it depends on how much you want to watch. I personally find pay-per-view better as it means I watch what I want when I want, rather than having to seek out stuff to watch to justify the subscription, stuff that I wouldn't want to watch otherwise. But if you are expecting to rent a film every week or so then sure it's better to do subscription. I could never find 2-3 films per week worth watching these days!

Didn't BlinkBox come out top on a recent gadget show test?

Lovefilm have dropped the price to under £5, while Netflix launched today at £6 a month. I haven't tried either service though.
