Iv just got a new phone
Its an andriod , Ericsson ray , before this i had nokia c101 ( i think ) and before that lg viewty
forgive my ignorance ,unless your addicted to facebook / and are 14 ,what has improved (in the last 5 years )

The web browser will be a whole lot better and content now fits the screen. Android has apps, a lot of them are rubbish but a few of them are diamonds. Email should be easy. Basically all the things you were told would work when you bought your Viewty, will now work. Plus quite a lot more. You should have bought an iPhone.

Access to the android market,
Sorry it's a bit vague but I have no idea on the particular handset you are using or the lg viewty, which I believe was a decent handset in its time

Just wondering, what phone on the gadget show spanked the iphone.
I'll give you a hint, i've got one sim free.
In fairness i love showing it to iphone users, the phone that is.
They go very quiet, and briefly mention how gorgeous the display is

It's probably a Galaxy S2, great hardware but unfortunately not powerful enough to run the latest Android software, Geeks will tell you otherwise, but that's the word from Samsung. It's a great phone right now, but it's already out of date, shameful practice by Samsung, something they'd promised not to do.

Just had a look at that on the 3 network. Its more expensive than the 4S and although Im sure it is a very good phone Im not sure how you would distinguish its class from the 100s of cheap plasticky looking phones that the kids at school have.
I now its only pictures Im looking at but it looks really cheap and for the price they command cant understand how it comes to have this serious aesthetic flaw.

The camera was downgraded, as no phone cpu out there would cope with the features.
Instant shutter being one of them, fastest out there actually.
As for feeling cheap not one bit.

Although I have an iphone I certainly am not loyal to apple but I do like things that I have to feel and look like what I pay for them. Once a phone does all I need I would rather have one that looks good, is designed and feels of high quality rather than one that looks like a toy but gives marginally better performance that most probably will never use. Does anyone disagree that any of the samsungs et al look and feel better?
