Seemingly Barbour is the new Burberry in the chav world..just dont tell the wife !!
have to agrea thou even us true scotsman would have thrown that out rather then try sell it for a few quid !!
besides fair enough a new zip £20 from Barbour, what else you going to salvage from it to make it a worthwhile buy, the odd pocket or the bits that are not fire damaged anyway ??!!
as I say just tickled me when I seen the advert but as well all know thats ebay and had it not been a buy it now price then would have probably attracted some 25 bids and went for the price off a brand new one !!!!!!!!!!!
p.s The feedback for the four negatives gained are not exactly encouraging either are they ??!!

I have worn Barbour jackets for 20 odd years... They are are a great all weather jacket, and generally last around 10 years..
I currently have a lightweight Bedale and a Midweight Cowan Commando, wife has an International light wax..I have previusly had a Gamefair and a Northumbria.
I wear one of the other over day of the year as i use them to walk the dog,and like i say 10 years usually see's them off for me...
I have bought most of ours from Country attire in Whaley bridge, superb service and excellent prices..We dont live to far so pop over instead of ordering most of the time..

Print this off, laminate it and staple it to the back. She won't even notice!

I think it's a clever way of getting rid of the evidence.
Looks like he has given her both barrels in the back.

[QUOTE=Leslie;10390293]Those jackets are getting very expensive these days. They do last if you look after them though.
This one certainly did not last !! but guess laying it on a hot cooker ring is not really looking after it is it ??!!!
still not checked yet, has someone bought it ??
the negative feedback is shocking, would not even trust them to send me this fire damaged jacket after reading that !!
does not do the whole fine upper class Barbour image very good does it !!
