I actually didn't know it was permanent; if it is, that's an outrage. TdW's PR is appalling, and I've told him as much, but he's actually clever and well-read and when you couple that with an abrasive, stubbornly combative style of debate that the common mob can't handle, they start baying for blood as retribution; a de facto substitution for a limitation of reason. I've not forgiven admin. for caving in to the mob's demands or for making free expression and freedom of conscience subordinate to the status quo.

That's what happens when you have to keep the 'mob' happy. Above all things this is a car forum - one I'm sure the admin team would like as many people as possible to frequent. With that in mind, can you see why they would want to get rid of someone you describe as having an "abrasive, stubbornly combative style of debate" (f*cking annoying, in plain English) to keep the 'common mob' coming back?

Bit of a shame really I was actually beginning to like him. 
What did he do to deserve a lifetime ban anyway? they don't do these very often so what ever it was must have been quite special.

I think you must be on drugs to think he was well read or clever but agree that he should never have been banned, being ridiculed for his Muslim obsession was more suitable punishment.
