Has anyone else installed it on their phone yet? I just installed it on my Galaxy S.
Let's wait and see how I get on. Very. Very first impression is it is very slick but let's see what he next 10 minutes holds

Apple still support 3GS with ios5 should have to rely on a team to sort.
They've basically said f**k off DHD owners

I suspect the op has routed his phone to get ics on. It does annoy me how android as an is does not support older devices, my wife's wildfire s is running 2.1 I think and it will never get upgraded again unless I root it.
Apple are much better at supporting their devices.

Apple are also much better at supporting their devices that cannot run the latest os properly.

It'll be here. I've just rooted my HD (had it stock for a year) and put this on ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040 ... Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3. But they already have a beta version of ICS out. Check out ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1343361 ...
It *could* be that HTC do bring it out as they are for other phones that are just newer.

Android platform is exploding with updates coming quickly. Also manufacturers are releasing new high spec phones almost weekly to get to the top of the tree. This leads to some phones falling away quickly, however there is a huge developer network producing roms and applications to allow older phones to have the latest software.
Its easy to support when all you have is a couple of phones in the last couple of years

To update the S2, you need to download & install Samsung Kies onto your PC.
http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/us...tware/KIES/JSP
Take a FULL BACKUP & Make sure your phone is fully charged before updating.
You can currently update to 3.3.5 which has improved my battery live 30% and fixed a couple of bugs.

1 word, Lag.
Still present in the latest build and an instant turn off for many after using iOS. Google have apparently shot themselves in the foot, fundemental things are never easily fixed.

Edit: actually, ignore that question. I realize I'm never going to get non-bias comment from you on any phone OS...
