Spoiler wanted - Only Fools and Horses
The Beeb are showing (again!) old episodes of Only Fools.... this week.
There was one episode this week where missus missed the end bit where Del Boy showed how he had conned some posh blond antique dealer who he fancied after she had persuaded Del to let her have one of his mum's pictures which she promptly auctioned off. If you saw the episode you will know what I mean.
So what was the ending? Not available on iPlayer btw.
Cheers, David

The painting that the art dealer fancied that was hanging on the Trotters wall turned out to be knocked off, apparently one of Del's relatives, an old aunt or gran used to be a cleaner in a big posh house and she lifted it.
It ends with Del having the last laugh that the painting is knocked off as this posh bird was all smug and smitten thinking that she'd got an expensive piece of art for free and that Del didn't know what it was, Del knew all along what its value was and that it was stolen.

Thanks Rob
I wondered if it was that or possibly a forgery knocked out by one of Del's mates with a bit of time on his hands

They are so good usually. One of the few "old" series that I love to watch again as, aside from no smoking in pubs these days, nothing has changed
Plus some wonderful characters like Boycey (spelling?).
I'm afraid "The Two Ronnies" and dare I say Morecambe & Wise just don't cut the ice any more.

I was watching The Two Ronnies yesterday, and although it's 'tame' humour nowadays, you have to marvel at their fantastic craft and script writing - extremely clever. And still funny.
It's of an altogether different era, but very amusing nonetheless. The writing is so complete, that the sketches last for bloomin' ages! - so much great material crammed in.

OFaH is still one of the best comedies on telly (all be it repeats).
However, the BBC have yet again succumbed to the PC brigade.
In one episode often repeated (the title of which escapes me), Del hits his finger with a hammer and says '..now I've only gone and given meself a blackman's pinch..' to mean a blood-blister.
The word 'blackman's' has been edited out of the repeat

Big improvement on the lavatorial humour and bad language which more modern and less capable comedians rely on now.

Only Fools was, and still is hilarious.
Trigger getting upset that Daphne in Neighbours had died, Del tries to explain that its only a TV programme, Trigger is having none of it
It always cracked me up how Trigg calls Rodney (Dave).

Trigger: "And that's what I've done. Maintained it for 20 years. This old broom's had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time."
Sid: "How the hell can it be the same bloody broom then?"
Trigger: "There's the picture. What more proof do you need?"
