Opinions - just finished making my wedding invitations.
Almost finished, I just need to print out the inserts, and then send them off.
Saved myself a few £££'s too!
What do you guys/gals think?

Thanks.
They will certainly do the job. I wasn't planning on paying the earth for some cards. Over £100 for some pretty cards, and those were the more basic types! All because it's got the word 'wedding' in it somewhere!
You can take a zero off and your close to how much it's cost me

Very nice
(don't those little bits you pull off the foam squares get everywhere, I only craft in one room but there's usually a trail of them all over the house)

Grey, silver and White. I could have used a lighter colour, but I don't think the contrast would have worked as well.
All good to take on board though, for when I do the next batch

I had thought about adding a small amount of something bling, a diamonte somewhere but it may look OTT, it's just it may just add a little bit of needed sparkle.
I do have a few spare so I could use one to play about with.

Tidy and straight forward job, Hysteria. I am not keen on the red hearts with black backdrop for the wedding, though. They look more Valentines Day types. I spot them within the last picture, in your opening post (unless I need my eyes tested) Grey, silver and white combination is nice. You are right about keeping it to just enough. You don't need any cheapo diamonte stuff to stick on. That will make it look tacky unless they are real diamonds.

We made ours back when we got married in 06 and my elder brothers missus to be has just sent us their effort. To be honest the look too simple (minimalist is not always best). For starters I think it should say "Our Wedding" or similar. Wedding just looks generic.
Good on you for doing it though, its too easy to pay a few quid and get someone to print everything on it.

I think I agree with the bling... Keep it simple.
