You can in fact use any Amazon voucher, doesn't need to be eBook vouchers.
If someone asks me what I want for birthday/Xmas etc. I always say "Amazon voucher". I then top my account up with them and just buy books when I like.

or newsgroups. Hard back version of book £25. Paperback not published until next April. Kindle version £12.50. Newsgroup version.........well. Problem is you can sync these titles to your Amazon Kindle account.

My wife is an avid reader, sometimes reading 3 books at once The house is swimming in old books. She has just seen a kindle and quite like the look of it. But she also liked her old HTC desire hd for games, phone function.
So to combine both, I will be looking at the Samsung Galaxy Note, large screen nearly the same as a kindle Amazon app for books, games, phone and obviously Android
