Choosing business name
My wife is soon to get started with laser cutting to make artistic items, sold online.
Trying to decide on some names. Please suggest any others.

Laser Flair probably the best with the word Laser in it...... Personally I'd think of a name that doesn't have anything to do with Lasers which sounds good. And then attach "laser Art" or something like it.
Topaz Laser Art .......just picking a word out of thin air.

I spent a month looking into my business name and the impact it would have. 1st thing to do is to check the competition to see what you're up against. After I looked around and talked to suppliers etc I decided on an alphabetical name (AA Aerials) as the feedback I got from people was that when theyre searching for a service, people often start at the top and work downwards. This isnt always the case, but i've had a lot of people ring me and say that they rang because I was 1st on the list.
Just a thought.

Laser Art
Then get some arty type to come up with L A as an image using a very fine line/s to represent the laser cut. Just use this image on much of your promo material.

Interesting ideas, keep them coming!
Laser in the name isn't necessary, many have no idea about how it works and are more interested in the results. So you're wide open with artistic type branding.
The names mentioned are generally available as domain names, many like laserart are not. Don't want to step on any trademarks etc.

laserflair is by far and away the best out of that lot. It is the shortest which is better for memorising, for Google purposes, etc. I also believe it passes the "Radio" test far better than the others. If someone mentioned it to you in the morning, you'd have a good chance of remembering the name when sat in front of Google at night.
The rest are varying degrees of bad IMHO
P.S. My read is that you picked laserflair and invented the rest to benchmark against it. (i.e. you had to give us alternatives).
P.P.S I just registered www.laserflair.co.uk
