That was my half arsed attempt from last year to provoke reponse for the competition. Based on what happned last year I don't think there will be one this year
Anyhoo, out of pure shame I've cobbled this together:
I'm not doing any more - too busy at the moment.

Seems like only last week i was moaning about last years effort, how time flies!
Still, it is only November, hardly Christmas although i guess admin is making up for all the previous years' lateness in one fell swoop
May i be the first to wish you all a merry Christmas!

What about catering for those who do not believe in Xmas, I am sure there are some people like that on here.
and it is not even December....it does look a little basic.

You have to be either a super saddo, stingy Scrooge or other fcukwit religionIST for not believing in a cross-national festivity, may it be bright Christmas, spooky Halloween, or even Easter. Some -ists and -ians hate Halloween. They need to get a life. Its nothing but a bit of a theatre for kids, you bluntheads! Christmas is so warm and wonderful in such a freezing time of the year. It sorts people's heads out, and make them realise that there is a reason to live, no matter how dark and depressing the winter is. Easter is just a hollow chocolate egging fun. All good. I love them all.
By the way, SN logo does the job. All good.

Really can't see any good reason for criticising the original reasons for having those holidays, or the people who celebrate the the occasions which created them in the first place!

So far original reasons are concerned, it is evident that people are no longer bothered about them. Free country, things change with time, but people should be able to enjoy the scene, and join in. Contemporary reason i.e. "to be happy" will do.
People who criticise social and cultural celebrations need to get a life. Any excuse to me happy is a good one, may it be Christmas or any other fun festivity.
I do empathise with those who have some very traumatic memories attached to Christmas or alike. But I have also seen a lot of such people getting back on the track, and back to the business of enjoying the season.
