Default Xmas ideas for pregnant Wife...

Wifey is due in May and conveniently, Christmas comes before that. Anyone got any good ideas of what i can buy. No thoughts on budget - just thought that one or two of you lot will have been through the same thing and will have a fair idea what is hit or miss :thumb

Get her a figure hugging dress, at the size she used to be.

This might give her a hint, that once baby as made an appearance, she should get her @rse down the gym.

Gherkins and ice cream. Failing that shoes are always a safe bet as long as you know what she wants.

You can wrap the divorce papers in the same present to save time later.

Shoes are bad during pregnancy as many women get swollen feet.

Good for you. My Wife is due in April, second one for us.

I got her some decent skin care stuff last time, I just can't remember the brand!!

Go into a larger Boots and ask. I spent about £150, for several different things.

HTH

For after she has had the baby. If you buy here a pair of stilletos and expect her to wear them whilst she is pregnant, chances are you will end up pulling them out of your eye sockets.

To answer the op whatever you buy her will be wrong with those hormones flying around, so you are just as well buy something you want and maybe throw in a spa pampering day as a back up to take her mind off feeling like a walking blimp for a few hours.

But if you buy her shoes for later they will be out of fashion/colour/season and then she will need some new ones!!!

How about some 'mom' jeans

I told my other half pretty simply that after she drops in January she better get rid of any excess fat straight away , Luan don't pork no fatties. Mine is the only beer belly allowed in this relationship.

Along with other things spend a few bob on perfume. They like to slap it on as they think they look great

I'd steer clear of baby stuff but do you/she need anything posh for the house?

A nanny?

You can get Spa days for pregnant women.

It'll soften the blow for when you go to Amsterdam to wet the babies head

My partner gave birth to our first child 3 weeks ago, and ur right they are very hormonal and a male can never quite get things right over the 9 mnth period.
I got her a photoshoot for her birthday, and got a big thank you in regards to it. The photgrapher was amazing with her and we got some really nice pictures from the experience, depends if your partner is having a good day though!

Nice pictures, what of the giving birth bit?

If so, that's a bit weird isn't it?

I hope there were none taken "down below"

Lol no mate, i think i would have been shot if it was that kind of shoot!!
Just tasteful shoots of mother and 'bump'. Something they can both remember and look back on.
Bonus points for me when i need something for the scoob or wanna 'weekend' away with the boys, so win win situation!
