Default Dubstep

So i made this whilst mucking around over the weekend, It's not quite finished yet. Hasn't been through mix-down nor has it been mastered and i think i still want to do something with the top end but what you lot think of it so far?

Apologies for all of the older music snobs as you will probably tar this with some sort of electronic negativity brush

Although to be fair it does feature two pianos and a synthesised string section..

Sounds good, but not that "heavy".. but that said its really hard to listen to dubsep unless you are listening on a good set of cans or through a good system. My crappy work laptop does not cut it!

Lol. no its not really engineered to work on laptop speakers. There are a couple of sub bass lines in there which are set to rumble but i copied one of those and EQ'd it so you can hear it through speakers with no subwoofers (laptops phones old cars etc) but it does sound quite weak at the moment through these sorts of speakers.
I'm going to get into one of the studios at Uni tomorrow and get it thumping

I think it could be a really good tune but the keyboard melody bit that runs through the tune sounds like it was done on a £12 pound casio, definately change that to a different sound. I like the piano as well but again if possible I would try to make it sound more like a real piano. All IMO

agree with billy, sounds good enough, not as heavy as other dubstep, but suppose its all about variety and diff styles within each genre of dance music
