Just wondering if anyone has one of these sets and what your comments are ?
Do you use it for gaming and if so is it ok . Not worried about the sound as I rarely use the TV speakers and I know they are a bit tinny .
Cheers

I have a budget of £1000 specified by the wife , it must be passive as active apparently gives her headaches too !

I have the LG 42LE8900 and is a great TV and not bothered that it's not 3D capable. I don't use it for gaming, I have cheapo Tecnika 32" LCD for that in another room and it's fine with the Wii connected via component at 480p. If you're a serious gamer, you should perhaps consider a plasma as they have less lag. Having said that I don't notice any lag on the cheapo LCD.

I would go have a look at it, I wasn't overly impressed with the LW550T when I viewed it. For passive 3D it is good but in no way great. Again Panasonic would have my hard earned over it.

That one is 100hz where as this is 200 .I have viewed it as its the main LG 3d tv on display in currys near me and I was blown away with the 3d side of it , I currently have a Sony Bravia which is only 2 years old and I havn't noticed lag on that and that's an Lcd . plasma is a no no as there all active shutter which gives the wife headaches or eye strain and I've viewed both types and can't justify paying 80 quid for each set of glasses , you get 7 sets with the LG and there about a quid to replace . If I bought an Active 3d tv I'd end up spending a fortune on glasses on the off chance we watch a movie with friends .
I'll take a punt on this tv I think , it has some good reviews and you get 14 days to return it.
