1 in 4 children born to people not from the UK - Ouch!

I do not get it, we have nearly 3m unemployed, limited space and resources and yet how can we sustain another 10m people?

Will we be able to offer them employment and how will they contribute to the country in positive and indeed financial way if we already have high unemployment. We have a weak pound and little to offer the rest of the world in the way of exports except specialist and nice manufacturing due to high costs of manufacture, etc. as compared to the likes of China and India.

How do we feed ourselves if we use farm land for housing roads, infrastructure, we already buy a lot of our gas from Eastern Europe to heat homes so we become even more dependant on other countries who can in turn charge what they want compounding problems at home. I mention just a few of the potential issues, there are many more, schools, etc.

I am happy to be corrected (by facts) but it can only be a drain on the state and make things worse overall surely? How can we add to this burden???

Our doors seem to be wedged open by successive governments only intend of self gratification and unwilling to tackle immigration.

This can only lead to support for extremist parties who will exploit and play people fears.

I worry the horse has already bolted leaving that stable door wide open...

Surely that situation was blindingly obvious from the moment they encouraged uncontrolled immigration.
