Default Transferring from SKY box

Any of you guys ever tried to transfer stuff from sky hd box to laptop?

Why on earth do they have USB ports that don't appear to be connected to anything?

You can do it you'll need to take the hdd out the sky box and put it in a USB caddy .

So in theory, could I then copy the stuff onto the new HD box too?

You can hook up a DVD recorder to the box and transfer stuff onto it as I've done that before - its in the Sky box instructions.

Presumably if the lap-top has a DVD RW player, you can at least then watch a DVD on there. Not sure about saving it to the Lap-top HD though.

saying that i dont think this will help with you wanting to play it on your laptop
